The wall stays flat. Depth in a 3D mural is optical — we print colour, not relief, so run your hand across it and you will feel the wall. That is also why it lasts: there is nothing raised to chip, catch or peel.

NOTE 3D reads best where there is room to stand back — around 2.5m or more of clear floor gives the effect somewhere to land. In a narrow hallway we will usually steer you towards a design that works up close instead, and say so before you pay for artwork.

Is this the same as 3D printing?
No. 3D printing builds a physical object up in layers. We print a flat image whose perspective, shading and lighting create the illusion of depth on your wall — the printed surface stays flat. If you need a physical printed object, that is a different trade and we will happily say so.
What does a 3D wall mural cost?
It is priced per square metre like any wall we print, but 3D designs are normally quoted at the highly detailed tier because of the artwork behind them. Use the estimator for a ballpark, or send photos and measurements for a firm quote.
Can you do a 3D effect on brick or concrete?
Yes. The ink follows the texture rather than fighting it. Smooth drywall gives the cleanest illusion, while brick and concrete read more like an artwork on brick — still striking, just a different look. Send a photo and we will tell you which.
Do I need to supply the design?
No. Send a photo of the wall, rough measurements and the idea, and we develop the artwork and send a proof. Nothing is printed until you have approved how it looks.
