This policy explains what personal information InnovaPrint ("we", "us") collects through this website and how we use it. We keep it deliberately plain-English — and we collect far less than most websites do.
1. Who we are
InnovaPrint provides mobile direct-to-wall UV printing. We are based in London and travel further afield for projects.
We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything related to your data, contact us at hello@innovaprint.uk or +44 7885 227155.
2. What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us:
- Estimate requests — your name, phone number, email, postcode, the service you're interested in, and your project description.
- Contact messages — your name, email, optional phone number and your message.
- Direct contact — if you call, email or WhatsApp us, we receive whatever you send (including wall photos you share for quoting).
- Enquiry forms on social media — if you fill in one of our enquiry forms inside Facebook or Instagram, we receive the answers you gave and the contact details you confirmed there. Meta collects those on our behalf and its own privacy policy applies to your use of its platforms; once the enquiry reaches us we treat it exactly like one sent through this website.
Separately, our web server keeps ordinary technical logs of every request: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, and the browser and operating system you used. Every web server does this — it's how the site gets served at all. We use these logs only to keep the site running and to spot abuse, we never use them to build a profile of you or work out who you are, and they're deleted automatically after 14 days.
Other than those logs, the only things we collect from you for browsing are website analytics and advertising measurement, and only if you accept them when we ask (see section 6). Analytics tells us which pages are useful. Advertising measurement tells us whether an ad we paid for led to an enquiry — if you accept, Meta (Facebook) can recognise that a visit to this site came from one of our ads. We don't build a picture of you as an individual, and if you decline, neither happens at all. We don't ask for payment card details through this website, and we never store them.
We never send your contact details to an advertising platform. When you submit a form we tell Google and Meta only that an enquiry happened and which form it came from — never your name, email, phone number or postcode.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote and artwork proof.
- To arrange and carry out the work you've asked about.
- To keep reasonable business and tax records of enquiries and completed jobs.
4. Our lawful basis for using it
Under UK GDPR we have to tell you why we're allowed to process your data. Depending on what we're doing, our basis is one of:
- Steps before a contract, and performing a contract — quoting for your wall, proofing artwork, and carrying out a job you've booked.
- Legitimate interests — keeping records of enquiries and jobs so we can answer questions later and run the business sensibly, and keeping the site itself secure and available (the server logs described above). We've considered your privacy alongside this and only keep what's proportionate.
- Legal obligation — retaining financial records for the period tax law requires.
We don't rely on consent for any of the above, so withdrawing consent isn't something you need to do to stop us — just ask and we'll delete what we hold, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.
5. Marketing
We don't run marketing lists, we don't send newsletters, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone. If you contact us, we reply about your enquiry — that's all.
6. Cookies and local storage
We never sell what analytics or advertising measurement tells us. What we use:
- Essential, always on. A single local-storage entry remembering your light/dark theme preference, and — while your answer to the cookie banner is remembered — an entry recording that choice. Neither leaves your device.
- Analytics, only with your consent. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets a cookie in your browser. We ask first: until you press Accept, no analytics cookie is written and Google receives only an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. Press Decline and not even that is stored. The site works identically either way.
- Advertising measurement, only with your consent. When we're running ads we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to tell whether they actually bring anyone here. It sets a cookie, and Meta may use it to measure and target advertising. Unlike analytics it has no cookieless mode, so we go further: the pixel's code is not loaded onto the page at all unless you press Accept. Decline, or simply ignore the banner, and it never runs.
Changed your mind? You can withdraw or give consent at any time — . Clearing your browser's site data for innovaprint.uk also resets it, and we'll ask again on your next visit.
Our webfonts are served from this site itself, not from Google Fonts, so simply reading a page sends nothing to a third party. If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
7. Who else sees your information
We don't sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing. Your information is handled by us, and by the service providers we rely on to operate:
- our website and database hosting provider, where enquiries submitted through the forms on this site are stored;
- our email provider — if you email us, or we email you, your message sits in our inbox with them;
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there (including any wall photos you send);
- our accountant and, where a job goes ahead, the records tax law requires;
- anyone else the law obliges us to tell.
8. How long we keep it
- Server logs — 14 days, then deleted automatically.
- Enquiries that don't turn into a job — up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Records of completed jobs — 6 years, which is what tax record-keeping and the usual legal claim period require.
Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will, unless we're required to keep a record.
9. Keeping it safe
Access to enquiries is limited to us and protected by individual accounts and passwords. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure and we won't pretend otherwise — but we keep little, we keep it for a defined time, and we don't spread it around.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you (access);
- correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it;
- provide it to you in a portable format;
- stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interest (object).
Email hello@innovaprint.uk and we'll respond within one month, free of charge. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right — and you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) at any time.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
